Hydrotite Waterstop
for Precast Concrete Joints

Hydrotite hydrophilic water stops are designed for precast concrete joints including segment tunnels linings and offer excellent long-term protection against water ingress and good chemical resistance. Hydrotite has a unique waterproofing system: First, the rubber elasticity forms a seal between the two surfaces. Second, unique to Hydrotite, the rubber absorbs water, expanding to compensate for any movement or shrinkage around the joint.

Why use Pozament Hydrotite?

Hydrotite waterstops form an excellent seal around pre-cast concrete joints. The natural elasticity of the rubber creates an immediate compressed seal between adjacent surfaces. After contact with water, the hydrophilic reaction creates a secondary expansion, forming a compression seal that compensates for any shrinkage or joint movement.
Hydrotite products are world renowned as superior chloroprene rubber based hydrophilic waterproof joint sealing materials (water stops), which have excellent long-term durability and good chemical resistance.
The hydrophilic material used in Hydrotite waterstops, absorb water on contact, causing them to expand within the joint and increase the effectiveness of the seal.
